La Pepa in Freiburg im Breisgau

My boyfriend and I loved the selection of drinks! The restaurant is really very stylish. No cheap decoration, instead the colors were very harmoniously coordinated. The waiters are extremely personable and extremely courteous every time. That makes me very happy every time I visit and I can really recommend this restaurant!

Corona what is it? No minimum distance, no address stored. Not comparable to real tapas. "Iberico" meat completely tough / hard. Dry anchovies. Conclusion: no recommendation

Food is very good for my taste. However, I always had to wait a long time. And only go there if you don't care about the friendliness of the staff, because unfortunately I'm with you our visit was not a good experience.

We wanted to have food delivered as described on the website. No response to the specified Whatapp number. After a phone call we were told very unkindly that you hadn't offered any deliveries or take-away for a long time and that Whatsapp was all about. This is also friendlier.

Very tasty tapas in a suitable ambience. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the background music is a bit loud.

The dishes we ordered so far were all great and of good quality above the "average Spaniard" in Freiburg. A popular restaurant and correspondingly full, but since you can reserve tables, you couldn't at the beginning, you can also go there at the weekend with groups larger than 3 people.

I love going there, the food tastes fantastic and the restaurant is nicely decorated! Points are deducted for the unfriendly staff. I always have the feeling that the best thing all customers want is to leave. In addition, I find the price-performance ratio not so good for some dishes, but also great for some. However, since the food is so good, I always have to come back. :) therefore recommendable.

La Pepa is a rustic Spanish restaurant with a touch of Spanish flair. The menu is fairly clear, but tasty. The quantities are completely sufficient, so you can snack anywhere. The Singapore Sling was absolutely not the hit, it is interpreted very freely and not worth recommending. The service is very friendly and attentive.

Get one of the last tables and have a very nice evening. Nice and friendly service. Great food and plenty of portions. The olives were to die for. The quality and price of the wine do not quite match.

Good place with tasty food. I had Octopus which was delicious. The only problem the place is very lauded and every on is struggling just to talk. It is lettel expensive also.

Spanish restaurant with small fish fry, fritters and squid donuts .... all in Tapas mode. It serves in addition to excellent Mojito in an original way. Tapas tasting is done in a nice and friendly atmosphere with Spanish music, I recommend.

We wanted to eat paella spontaneously and then phoned around 19 o'clock for a table at 21 o'clock. She clarified this briefly because of the paella, which can only be ordered by appointment (at least 2 people, only if not too busy) but it was not a problem and we could eat paella :) It was very busy and we ordered a few tapas in advance which were also brought quickly and really delicious! The paella afterwards was really delicious! We recommend. Even otherwise, everything sounds really good on the cat. The service was also attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back :)

Tapas Bar offering a range of authentic Tapa, Sangria and Spanish Wines. Check for Happy Hour times coz we missed it. Some dishes have a Germanic twist e.g. I can't recall chicken tacos with a curry sauce being at any other tapas bar ? the G&T menu has a great selection and the presentation is spot on, using quality ingredients, putting tonic on side and large bowl type glasses so the aromas can be appreciated fully. Best Tapas for me was the Black Iberica with Tomato toast and the least was the Jamon Croquette- but if you like it extra salty it may be your favourite.

The food was very good and tasty. A little bit too much lemon juice in the ceviche, but this is a personal opinion. The environment is very friendly and nice. Price is fair.

Lovely restaurant, surprised to find such a genuine tapas place in Freiburg. The service may take longer given the amount of customer orders but the food is excellent and the waitress gave her best. My favorite were the fried langostinas with aioli (the long sticks in the picture) The Rioja reserva wine was very good. Check it out!

The waitress was rude to us. She rolled her eyes at me when I asked if they had any ice tea. The food was mediocre. The atmosphere felt like you were sitting in a fastfood restaurant.

Good wine, nice atmosphere, tasty tapas. The burger option was good, a bit dry and unfortunately service wasn’t super friendly. Meals came very badly timed so that half of the table had already finished when the rest of the food came.

According to local experiences in which mainly native speakers are the best ... So here too! Rarely have I eaten such a superb octopus outside a coastal region! Butter soft, simply seasoned with garlic Salt and oil ... that's all you need! The olives which one gets as Amuse-Gueule are extremely fine. The "big" appetizer plate can be seen with the excellent ham, chorizo, cheese and olive mix. I can only recommend a visit to everyone!

A short trip to Spain in Freiburg! :) Paco is the hottest waiter ever! Fast nice and just super typical warm spanish services. And the food is just terrific, super authentic and extremely fair priced for this mega quality of what you get here .... I can only recommend and will definitely not be my last visit! :) A big movie theater! Thank you so much, keep up the good work! ?

Wow... Great food and wonderful atmosphere. The service was great and friendly. The Tapas were amazing. My wife and uy ate way too much when we went for her birthday. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend it.

Real tapas bar! I'm Spanish I know what I'm talking about.

I feel obligated to give some stars for the delicious food and cozy ambience. But I discovered upon closer inspection of the receipt the next day that I was charged for numerous items that I never ordered nor received. I was overcharged by more than 40 euros, which left a bad taste in my mouth, in spite of the tasty tapas. Lesson learned: always check the bill before paying! I don't think I will ever go back. ?

Tapas and Beer were quite good. Luckily we arrived early. The more people arrived the longer the wait.

It may be unfair to say so, but, as a tourist, I think the food is too salty and rich.

The only real Spanish food in Freiburg (at least at a restaurant!). Service excellent, traditional tapas options on the menu, everything is delicious. Yeah, it's a little pricey, and my Spanish side of the family flipped when I told them the prices, but let me reiterate: it's the only real Spanish food place in Freiburg.
